How to Test Hair Health
Shiny healthy hair would be a desire for every woman. Unfortunately, various factors such as pollution, the use of blow dryer and flat iron, straightening / curling hair, hair painting, until the lack of nutrition can make hair dull and damaged.
To check the extent of healthy hair, there are some tests you can do. The sooner done, you can give proper treatment to overcome the problems experienced hair damage. To ensure the diagnosis, repeat each test at least four strands of hair using each of the different areas of the head.
Pull a hair to the root and check the base. Strong hair has a thick bulb. If no bulb, that means the hair follicles are in unhealthy conditions. The cause of the damage could come from the hair using heat or chemicals, or it could be due to hair loss.
Wrap a hair between your index finger and thumb like a rope, then use your other hand to ripped. If the hair broke, it means lack of hair moisturizer. But if the hair stretched like chewing gum, then the hair needs protein to strengthen the bonds of hair keratin.
Drop a hair into a glass of water. Healthy hair will remain floating on the surface. If the hair to set, it means a porous hair shaft. Damage can occur to the dyed hair, or because of lack of protein.
